In the past few months, Aha has acquired the digital rights to multiple low-budget films in Telugu. Next in line is Adah Sharma's Criminal or Devil. This horror thriller hit the screens on May 24, 2024, and ended as a massive flop at the box office. For months, no OTT platform came forward to acquire the film's digital rights.

Criminal or Devil OTT release date

Well, news has now come out that Aha has acquired the digital rights for a very nominal price. Reports indicate that Aha will make Criminal or Devil available for streaming from October 26, 2024. Not many are even aware that such a film was released in the first place.

Despite featuring Adah Sharma as the female lead, Criminal or Devil went unnoticed at the box office. We’ll have to see how it fares on Aha in the days to come. C.D. is a suspense thriller directed by Krishna Annam and produced by Giridhar. Viswant plays the male lead, marking the first time he has been paired with Adah Sharma.

The talented actress took on challenging roles in her previous films and was seen in yet another hard-hitting role in this psychological thriller. C.D. features Jabardast Rohini, Bharani Shankar, Ramana Bhargav, and Mahesh Vitta in other key roles.

A. Muddu Krishna penned the dialogues, while Satya Giduthuri served as the editor. Rama Krishna choreographed the action sequences for this film. Aha has added numerous low-budget films to its library, and C.D. will be yet another addition.

Adah Sharma was praised for her performance, but unfortunately, she couldn’t save the film from failing. The subject matter seems apt for an OTT release, and we'll see how audiences receive it on Aha. Stay tuned for more updates on this project.
